CANCELED - New England Birds of Prey with Wingmasters (Ages 6 and up)

Wednesday, July 316:00—7:00 PMGreat HallNevins Library305 Broadway, Methuen, MA, 01844

Due to a sudden issue with the library air conditioning this program has been cancelled, it will be rescheduled for a later date and registered attendees will be notified once a future date has been confirmed.   Thank you for your understanding.

At this unique event you’ll be able to see live birds of prey (raptors)! The program is presented by Wingmasters, an organization dedicated to increasing public understanding and appreciation of North American raptors; the organization also cares for injured raptors, releasing most of them back to the wild, and provides a home for those birds that wouldn’t be able to survive if released. These are the birds you’ll see at this exciting program -- live hawks, falcons, and owls – and learn about how they hunt, communicate, and experience a rapidly changing habitat.

This program is not recommended for very young children; please do not register children younger than 6 years old.

Please note: You will need to bring a blanket for your family to sit on.

Parking: The library’s parking lot might be crowded for this event, so carpooling is a good idea if possible. If our lot is full, please use the parking area in front of the police department (across the street from the library) or park on High Street. You can also take MEVA bus #10, which can drop you off at the library.

If your plans change after you register and you won’t be able to come to the program, please cancel your registration so that children on the waiting list can take your place. You can find a link to cancel your plans on your registration confirmation email, or you can call us at 978-686-4080 x26.

Program registration opens June 15!
