SPECIAL EVENT Meet Robots Pepper and SPOT (All ages)

Wednesday, July 266:30—7:30 PMGreat HallNevins Library305 Broadway, Methuen, MA, 01844

Join us for this event with Professor Rickey Caldwell of the Merrimack College Engineering Department, who will introduce us to two special robots: SPOT, an agile four-legged robot that can travel across different terrains such stairs, hills, rocks, and more; and Pepper, an automaton with natural language capabilities designed to interact with humans. Participants will have the chance to interact with the robots, which should make for an amazingly fun and interesting program!

Parking: The library’s parking lot could be crowded for this event, so carpooling is a good idea if possible. If our lot is full, please use the parking area in front of the police department (across the street from the library) or park on High Street.

If your plans change after you register and you won’t be able to come to the program, please cancel your registration so that children on the waiting list can take your place. You can find a link to cancel your plans on your registration confirmation email, or you can call us at 978-686-4080 x26.

This program is sponsored by the Merrimack College Department of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
