Throughout David Askin's extensive capital markets career, David has been a pioneer in creating innovative solutions for real world difficulties and in finding novel ways to resolve clients’ problems. He has done this as a financial markets strategist, researcher, portfolio manager, valuation and sales executive for a series of world-class organizations. He was a co-founder of BVAL, Bloomberg LP’s premier evaluated pricing service for capital markets securities. Earlier in his career, he built successful portfolio management, sales, trading and analytics businesses across the full spectrum of asset classes, strategies and functions at firms such as Merrill Lynch, Moody’s, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Daiwa.

In his “spare time,” David has been an adjunct professor of finance at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and at the Columbia Business School, as well as in the Financial Engineering Program at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. David also has published chapters in several financial textbooks, as well as articles and white papers in the field.
